Euro Elvis!

He sings. He dances. He swivels his hips. Is there anything this man can't do?!

Elvis Aron Presley was born to Vernon and Gladys Presley on January 18, 1935. Although he was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, he spent most of his growing up in Nashville, Tennesee where he graduated from high school in 1953.

Elvis was an only child, the surviving twin (his brother was stillborn). He started getting into music at an early age, liking the country, pop, R&B and gospel that was around him in Nashville. By the time he was 19 he cut his first recording deal, and at the tender age of 21 he was an international sensation. The rest, as they say, is history.

Elvis married Priscilla, his long time love, on May 1st, 1967. Their marriage lasted for about 7 years, and they had a daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. Elvis died of an apparant drug overdose on August 16, 1977.

In all, Elvis recorded nearly hundreds of songs, including "Blue Suede Shoes", "Jailhouse Rock", "Hound Dog", "All Shook Up," "Heartbreak Hotel", and "Love Me Tender", to name a few. He won over 100 awards for all his albums and singles, and he toured the world. He also starred in 33 different movies during his time.

Elvis is truly is an American legend. Even tho the King died years ago, his spirit is still alive - And it's coming alive even more, with the opening of Euro Elvis and Global Graceland in Luxembourg. Be there to witness this new and exciting rebirth.
