The Marrises are half conceived from the real world and half conceived from the dementias in my brain. They are possibly the Sims I am most fond of (with the exception of my original, Emma Terakkan [nee Bunnyton]), they're like my pets. They came from the idea to put a Sim Stacy (me) and a Sim (A)lexx(andra) in a house together to see how they faired. Just like the real Stacy and 'Lexx, they're best friends and share common interests. And also just like the real Stacy and 'Lexx, 'Lexx is a hard worker and Stacy is currently unemployed. How's that grab ya?
The name "Marris" came from a combination of our last names. A hyphenated name just didn't do it justice. Hyphens are for sissies and weiners. They're best friends also with Sim Dani, and as soon as Sim Dani brings in the dough, they're moving on up to the east side... a block away into the house at the end of the housing edition.
