This picture is at the corner of 12th Street and Santa Fe. It suffered considerable damage. What you see here is a Lutheran church that was at the intersection. Luckily, it only had parts of the roof stripped from it. Unluckily, JUST as the roof was finished being repaired later that year, it caught on fire and was demolished yet again. Their 3rd roof is so far still standing. (AFAIK. There was another tornado in 2003 that took a similar route, I'm not positive if the church was hit then;) |
