The poor little girl
Through all the woe
Who has yet little to gain
What has become of this poor child's life
How could she stand all the pain?

Her friend, the pain she put her through
Behind the unlocked door
So many things were happening
Hurting her even more

She learned life was a blessing from God
And that no lies should be told
And this secret that she was keeping
She no longer could hold

Every night the dark despair
That took place in that room
Was filled with harm and hurt
A shadow filled with doom

What can I do? she wondered
Is there anyone I can tell?
Is there anyone in the world
Who could stop this living hell?

The years passed slowly
The secrets stopped
But yet they were still alive
Every night she had nightmares
And she wished she wasn't alive

Finally she couldn't help herself
She was ashamed of her past
She then told her best friends
And felt some fear leave her at last

She prayed to God to forgive her
And to please make her forget
The first was granted soon
The other hasn't happeend yet

Who would think it happened
In the falling summer rain
And she hasn't yet escaped
The nightmares full of pain

So still the fear stays alive
Some parts are still untold
She won't ever be the same again
Because of the secrets that she holds
