My Bio

If you're not a Spice Girl (more specifically Emma, but I'd be thrilled if any of you visited) then why are you here? Ah, just kidding. Here's the low down on me since you're here.

I was born in Houston, TX on September 11, 1979. I lived there for 11 years before I moved to San Antonio. I lived there 2 years before I moved to St. Louis, MO in 1996.

It was sometime during the summer of 1996 when I saw the video for "Wannabe". Considering the fact that I never listened to this type of music, and listened to mostly rock and alternative, I was a bit surprised by how much I liked "Wannabe".

The Spice Girls debut album "Spice" was not yet in the US so I had a friend of mine who lived in Malaysia send me a copy. Needless to say I was hooked. My favorite songs from that album are "Mama", "Wannabe", and "If U Can't Dance".

Later on their movie "Spice World" came out around the same time as their second album of the same name. Guess what? I loved both of them. The movie I saw three times at the theater and bought when it came out on tape and I absolutely loved the cd a whole whole lot. I believe it is considerably better than "Spice" and it shows their developement in style and sound. My three favorite songs from that are "Stop", "Move Over", and a tie between "Viva Forever" and "The Lady Is A Vamp".

I got to see them in concert and it was incredible. Check out my concert review for more details.

Other music I like that you should definitely check out is Rammstein, Aqua, Humble Gods, Suicide Machines, Foo Fighters and Offspring to name a few.

That's it for now until I decide to make some changes.
